The Highlifter 9:1 Ratio Pump is capable of lifting water to elevations of up to 900 feet, given sufficient input pressure, while delivering hundreds of gallons of water per day. Built for long-term reliability, it is designed to provide years of dependable service with minimal maintenance.
In general, choose the 9:1 model when your storage tank is 427 to 984 feet above your water source.
In some situations, the 9:1 pump is also the best choice for lifts below 427 feet when the available fall is limited—for example, when the water source is located near the valley floor or close to a property boundary and there is not enough elevation drop to power a lower-ratio pump effectively.
